EU Roundtable of International Financial Centers in Frankfurt in September 2025

Karsten Wenzlaff attended the meeting of the World Alliance of International Financial Centers (WAIFC) EU Roundtable in Frankfurt, held alongside Sibos 2025, on September 29th 2025. He participated in the opening session at the Frankfurt Messe as well as in the awards ceremony, which recognised emerging academic contributions to financial innovation.

The Roundtable brought together European financial centres and invited guests for discussions on shared priorities and challenges. Key topics included anti-financial crime and regulatory alignment, cybersecurity cooperation, global competitiveness, and developments around the EU Savings and Investment Union and Open Finance initiatives.
