3 Questions for Companisto

Our Interviewpartner: Robert Wegner, Head of Portfolio Management of Companisto GmbH

What is the background for the investment?

The office world of tomorrow is becoming more agile and flexible through concepts such as open workspace and desk sharing. As part of the redesign, companies are reducing the number of individual offices and meeting rooms. As a result, places of retreat for focused work or undisturbed meetings and video conferences are lost. In the long term, employee health and productivity are affected by increased noise levels. Companies need a specific solution to ensure the functionality of the office.

Comparable conditions prevail in the commercial sector: the volume factor also plays an important role here for productivity. For production areas, room concepts for focused work or team coordination are completely lacking. Especially through Industry 4.0, production is becoming more agile and innovative. IT and other technical staff are taking on a more important role in production processes but cannot perform their work directly on the production equipment.

What is special about this investment?

OFFICEBRICKS has developed a unique modular and agile product for office and industry. Based on the self- developed “BRICK” technology, the sound insulation and room-in-room cubicle systems are designed. Due to highest sound insulation values, handcrafted quality Made in Germany and a very appealing design, the booths promote focused work and protected meetings in any environment. The Lego-like BRICKS are only plugged together and not screwed or glued. Therefore, assembly and disassembly can be done without special tools or skilled personnel and the booth retains its adaptability to the office or production environment.

OFFICEBRICKS is currently working on finalizing the new generation of cabins. The redesign has focused on the following factors:

1) Sustainability: OFFICEBRICKS is working on using more sustainable materials, as this is increasingly demanded by customers

2)  Design Update: The design is changed for the first time to a larger extent, among other things to fit betterinto the product portfolio of the partners.

3)  Compatibility with industrial production: The current design is not suitable for industrial production.

How can investors benefit from this investment?

If the financing target is reached, Companisto Investment Club investors would have a 7.23 % stake in the company. The potential return is 33 % per year. The business model of OFFICEBRICKS is already very mature, reaching profitability already in 2019. Based on the current sales figures and orders, we see a clear trend and great growth potential.
