ECSP-R Working Group Meeting March 2026
On March 4th, 2026, Digital Invest Germany held an ECSP-R Working Meeting together with the European Digital Finance Association (EDFA) and partner associations across Europe. The session focused on recent exchanges with European institutions, including updates on meetings between the European Commission and national associations, as well as feedback from the European Council regarding the €5 million threshold.
Building on previous discussions, participants addressed key topics such as investor losses, platform obligations towards investors, and risks related to payment service providers in reward-based crowdfunding. The group also reviewed insights from the 2025 market report by European Securities and Markets Authority and prepared discussion points for the upcoming ICAF conference in Málaga. The meeting concluded with coordination on future sessions and scheduling, reflecting continued collaboration on regulatory and market developments within the European crowdfunding sector.
