On April 20th and 21st, 2026, Karsten Wenzlaff attended a workshop at the University of Gdańsk focused on civic crowdfunding. The event brought together researchers, practitioners, and representatives of Polish crowdfunding platforms to exchange insights on community-driven financing models and their practical implementation.

The workshop was part of the SU-CCES! European project במסגרת the Erasmus+ Programme. Discussions highlighted the role of civic crowdfunding in supporting local initiatives and fostering citizen participation, as well as the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in advancing innovative financing approaches.
