In May 2026, Digital Invest Germany member klimja joined the Global Equity Crowdfunding Alliance (GECA). The Vienna-based crowdfunding platform enables retail investors in Austria and Germany to invest in climate protection and renewable energy projects.

By becoming part of the alliance, klimja contributes its experience in climate finance and impact investing to the international exchange on responsible crowdfunding. Its three-returns framework looks at financial, social and ecological returns and brings practical experience in financing climate and renewable energy projects to GECA’s work on cross-border crowdfunding.
